From all accounts, the photos would make any normal folks think of a happy summer event. What the pictures don’t show is all the behind the scenes “Family Drama”. Gawd, I sometimes think my relatives are not content unless there is soap opera style controversy. I’ve spent countless hours on the phone the last several days between my Sister and my Mother. I think a fella by the name of Rodney King once said… “Can’t we all just get along?”
I remember simpler times concerning family and miss those kind of days very much.
Yeah Barb, I know what you mean. One thing I can say for my family is that when I was young, they were very good at hiding family issues from us kids. As far as we were concerned everyone was a happy family. It was not until I moved out and started a family of my own that I really got an education as to what was going on during my childhood!
