That was quite interesting.

I can see how that might not appeal to the oil people in the middle east, they live in the desert!

However, it seems that a little water goes a long way. :)

BUT how do you REALLY feel, Mike? :)

Seriously, this is a very interesting topic. Alternative fuels along with global warming are the next frontier. You can't tell me that the country that put a man on the moon, and brought you the computer, for Heaven's sake, can't find an alternative source for fuel.

HBO has a very interesting documemtary on lately called, "Too Hot not to Handle". It deals with global warming and the need for alternative fuel. Very well put together and very interesting.

I have a childhood friend who is now working at Sandia National Laboratories. Pam tells me that they are developing a solar dish network, in the desert, that could provide power to the whole of the USA. Pretty amazing! They are also working on a means to provide solor power from panels in outer space. [Insert Star Trek Theme here!]

I guess the bottow line is that we have lots of options besides fossel fuels and it's time we MADE our government, the government We support with our tax dollars, explore and develope these areas so that we might be free of our dependency on OPEC and for the good of future generations.
