Oh My, Sandra That's quite the "flock" you have. My complaining seems so small and insignifigant compared to the challenge you've endured! hehehe.

I have 5 boys, and 1 girl. Get ready, as it only gets
worse. My boys are 29,25,20,14,11 and the girl is 7.
I am thankful they were spread over several years, or
we could not have kept them in food. We have 3 freezers
that I try to keep 3/4 full at all times, and 2 refrigerators. The 3 olders ones don't live at home anymore, but, they do stop by to raid the frig and freezer, and always for Sunday dinner--I always cook for
at least 12. I feel very blessed by God to have this opportunity to raise his children, but nonetheless, it
does get expensive and exhausting at times. Enjoy the
time you have at these ages, as this too, will pass.
They will forevermore enjoy eating, especially at Mom
and Dad's. Be happy they are healthy enough to eat.

Rather than dealing with "cow-pies" in my yard, or chickens on the loose, I've been thinking about getting a Freezer. On my trips to Sam's Club, I longingly look at some of the stuff I could buy frozen in bulk but simply have no room to store it at the present time. A freezer would allow me to store mass amounts of food, make my trips to the "regular" grocery store less expensive and less frequent. I'd like to just have to stop there on occassion for the staples only (bread, milk, eggs).
