I lived in California (near Los Angeles) for several years. During that time, I was present for a couple of major earthquakes, Drought, wild-fires, floods, mud-slides, the O.J. Simpson fiasco, the Rodney King Riots and daily High-Speed Police chases. I was caught in endless traffic & working sunrise to sunset. It was quite the miserable existance. We decided a change of life was in order and just picked up and moved here. I remember when we were driving east, Wendy had to restrain me cuz I had a strong desire to stop at the State line and "Moon" California! I'll never go back! Hehehe… a familiar story. Didnt really realize what a BIG change it was going to be until we got here. Bugs, and some of the biggest spiders I have ever seen in my life so big they have casted shadows on the oppisite wall!!!!! and then there is snakes and SUN and hurricanes and more SUN!!!! I mean I knew it was going to be hot but just not this hot...So all in all we have been here almost 7 years and I am ready to move but my husband builds houses and he cant do that year round up there so I am playing lottery twice a week ( two bucks one on Wednesday and one on Saturday) My husband says as soon as I win we will move to the snow that way he can do anything he wants inside and not worry about working outside... So maybe one day we will move hopefully sooner than later!!!!! :>) Hey a girl can dream anyway!!!! My Mom was heading this way and we decided we needed a change!!!
