Update Barb...

Ok, I think I have this figured out. I deleted all accounts on the computer except my own and password protected it. Now I just have to remember to log off everytime I leave my seat.

I am almost ashamed to admit this Barb, but I'm not sure I know how to password protect in the XP OS. With Win 95, 98 I always used the option with the screensaver. You know, the mouse is moved and it prompts for a password. That option is no longer available with XP. I know that you can assign a user password but what is to prevent someone from just logging on as a guest or something? I suppose I'll have to research it.

I don't recall you ever disappearing until one set time and then you did so ever after.

Ah, what you miss. :)

I have experienced the puter thing with guests, but I only have one PC...so, I am rather baffled in a house of six of them why yours is hijacked.

There is an easy way around that, password protect it?
Booby trap it with a water pail from above? Green slime?
C'mon Mike, get creative!

:)
